This month Weber Credit Union is celebrating its one-year anniversary as a business in Washington Terrace City. The credit union is located just east of City Hall.

Weber Credit Union is a full-service credit union that offers its members excellent personal and friendly service. The credit union was established 51 years ago by a group of Weber School District educators. They felt that establishing a credit union would give people like them a place to save and borrow.

“There were just a few of us who put dollars in to start it out,” said one of the early leaders of the credit union. “It was a touch and go thing for a year or so, but then it seemed to just take off. We just built it from nothing to what it is today.”

Weber Credit Union currently has 35 employees, 11,000 members and $70 million dollars in assets.

We offer competitive rates on auto, RV, signature and mortgage loans as well as CD and money market accounts.

To join Weber Credit Union you must be a resident of Weber County, a Weber School District employee or an immediate family member of a current member.
